● Proud/boastful of his alignment with the disgraced former State Senator that voted for Dems radical legislation, e.g. sexual exploitation of children, decriminalized drug dealers and Fentanyl, driver licenses for illegals
● Threaten to oppose America First agenda unless Trump re-endorse him for CD-3
● Voted against censoring Ilan Omar
2. Anti-GOP
● Ignored or refused to attend GOP County Party Events except during election years 2024 and 2026
● Aligned with RINOS
● Refuses to participate in the Caucus and State Assembly Process
● Unwilling to debate opponents during the Primary - expects to be anointed

1. 2024 Primary
● Falsely accused his opponent - a 2x Iraq combat veteran - of “stolen valor”
● Failed to disclose at campaign events he was “shacking up” with the State Party’s Secretary
● Attacked his opponent for being a former Democrat while claiming to be Pro-Trump – who is also a former Democrat
● Condoned the BIG LIE that his opponent was under investigation
2. Other Misconduct
● Failed to support Republican Primary Candidates
● Supported by Democrats in 2022 and 2024
● More than willing to employ Democrats talking points
● More than willing to use or condone false accusations against Republicans - a revolting Democrat tactic

● In 2024 Hanks and his “conflict of interest” girlfriend, the Party Secretary that year, demonstrated conduct unbecoming of adults especially by those claiming to be conservatives with their violent outbursts and use of the F-word against fellow Republicans. This is inexcusable behavior!!!! This conduct is in the gutter along with the attack dog of the above-mentioned disgraced former State Senator. His attack dog has demonstrated such abominable acts since 2020 against conservative opponents.
3. Record of Deceit
● Boastful of his so-called “Intelligence” field experience - in reality mainly a desk job
● Displayed military photos as if evidence of his “Intelligence” experience - reality non-classified photos. If classified, then he should be indicted.
● Claimed to be a CD-3 resident by renting a home in Grand Junction owned by the Party’s Treasurer. Real home was Fremont County
● What address is he using this year?
● Videos of him shooting at inanimate objects - his opponent actually shot at a real enemy a.k.a. terrorists in Iraq
● Claims to be a conservative while shacking up with the 2024 Party Secretary
Hurd and Hanks represent a choice of which one is the lesser evil, but CD-3 voters do NOT have to accept these two and their despicable and deceitful records.
Hope Scheppelman was the leading candidate who was expected to defeat Hurd in the Primary followed by election victory in November. Hope can and should be your candidate. You can assure this takes place by “writing in her name” on the Primary ballot.
