Colorado GOP nominates a NUT JOB for Governor

The results are now in and the Colorado Republican Primary has elected Victor Marx as its candidate for Governor. Marx obtained more votes than his two major opponents: (1) Barbara Kirkmeyer - a moderate Republican or as some believe a RINO since her Liberty score in the State Senate is 58%; and (2) Scott Bottoms - who has a consistent conservative voting record in the State House with a Liberty score in 90%+ category as well as a Christian serving as a pastor.
The Republican Party that claims to be fiscally and socially conservative as well as promotes and defends Christianity voted against Scott Bottoms who represents the ideal Christian conservative. The party elected instead Victor Marx as noted above. A man with many claims of notoriety and a candidate who refused to participate in at least 98% of the debates or candidate forums. Will he continue this pattern during the general election campaign this Fall? A man who claims to have conducted exorcisms! Marx's record is even more disturbing with his admission in a television interview that he killed a man at the age of 7 years of age. Far worse when questioned if he has killed anyone as an adult, he HESITATED before answering “Does it matter?” Yes, it does matter!!! The vast majority of the population have never killed anyone including most law enforcement officers with the exception of those who lived through the hell of combat. This is who the Republican Party elected to compete against the Democrat opponent.
Barbara Kirkmeyer would have been a far better candidate than Victor Marx. Not as conservative as many of us would like, yet she may have attracted enough independent voters and begrudgingly conservative voters to defeat the Democrat opponent. Unfortunately, we will never know. There is the conservative independent candidate, Greg Lopez, who will probably attract some Kirkmeyer and Bottoms voters; but not enough to win the election. In other words with Victor Marx as the Republican candidate for Governor, the Party has essentially assured the election to the Democrat opponent - Colorado’s current Attorney General - for Governor.
